2nd Adamawa State Jobfair held in Yola on 14th March 2013

On 14th March 2013 the 2nd Adamawa State Jobfair was held successfully in Yola, Adamawa State for the graduates of the Technical Skills Acquisition Centres as well as of the Special Works Trade Training Centres that were built up and operated by ITS - International Training & Support GmbH and its Partner Technical Training Services Ltd., Nigeria.

The idea behind the jobfair is to support the graduates with a smooth start into the labour market by offering a platform where they can meet with potential employers from Adamawa State and even nationwide.   Jobfair 2013

The importance of this event to the Adamawa Government could be seen by the Special Guests honouring the job fair with their presence:

  • The Chief Host, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State,
    Vice Admiral Murtala H. Nyako, GCON,
  • His Excellency the Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, Baba James Ngillary,
  • His Royal Highness, the Lamido of Adamawa, as well as
  • Members of the House of Assembly, various Commissioners etc.
Jobfair 2013   All together around 400 guests including dignitaries and representatives of the companies, in addition to over 500 students attended the jobfair and used the interaction sessions for an exchange between each other. This sessions rounded up the day which was organized by the Ministry of Education of Adamawa State and supported by ITS International Training & Support GmbH, wishing all the newly graduates of 2012 fruitful connections and job opportunities out of the event.
